About the Role
The IT Projects Summer Student role is to assist the configuration and deployment of IT Systems that support standardized business processes. This includes learning the platform landscape, supporting rollout activities and providing general support to the end-user. This individual will need excellent communication and team works skills. They will also need to apply basic problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve system related questions.
Your Responsibilities
•Support project managers and IT analysts
•End User Support
•Support execution of project timing plans
•Prepare and deliver reports
•Manage the MRewards Program
•User Support and Idea review for MCONNECT application
•ChangeX/GCAR/traX user support and software testing
•Perform other duties as required
Who we are looking for
•Some related experience preferred
Your preferred qualifications
•High School Diploma
•Currently Attending a College or University
•Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•Excellent written and oral communication skills
•Strong technical and analytical competence in select areas of technology
•Strong customer service orientation
•Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
•Ability to conduct research into system issues and products as required
•Keen attention to detail
•Logical and efficient
•Occasional early mornings to work with Europe team members
•Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
•Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other computer components
•Some travel to local and Canadian divisions (around 5%)
