Job Summary
As a member of the Technology Business Management (TBM) team, this specialized IT Finance role will be responsible for building complex financial models; conducting the ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of our Apptio TBM tool; developing new reporting and analytics; conducting training sessions; and collaborating with finance & technology leaders to drive value and insights through TBM concepts.
This position requires the technical skills to maintain our Apptio TBM platform. Having experience as an Apptio system administrator is preferred with knowledge of Apptio's Cloudability and Cost Transparency (Application TCO/Business Unit Cost Allocation) modules. This position will need to be an excellent team player with an aptitude for understanding both financial and operational concepts/procedures for the Information Technology divisions. This includes operational knowledge of IT Infrastructure domains including Data Centers, Network, Server (Physical/Virtual), Storage, and Application Development.
Required Job Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance and 5 years business experience in corporate financial or IT operational functions, OR 8 years business experience in corporate financial or IT operational functions.
Knowledge of tools/applications used within Internal Operations (i.e. Oracle Cloud, Workday, Clarity, ServiceNow) and experience with at least one tool or comparable.
Experience in IT Financial Management.
Customer service skills including managing customer expectations and/or vendor relationships.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerBI, and PowerPoint.
Detail orientated.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Experience with financial modeling.
Knowledge of IT hardware/software assets which include software licenses and maintenance costs.
Experience with business/financial models/business cases and forecasting.
Knowledge of IT cost structure used to provide in depth analysis around project costs (hardware, software, labor, etc.).
Minimum 3 years' experience demonstrating experience in Apptio tool implementation and IT Financial Management.
Apptio TBMA certification.
Experience with financial management of IT Equipment/Software.
Established capability in statistical programs such as Alteryx and Power BI.
*One year of coaching or mentoring experience.
