This position will provide IT technical support for the Chattanooga/Knoxville, TN area to include primarily the installation and lifecycle of IT hardware, but also occasionally repair and preventive maintenance, encompassing servers, desktop computers, printing, point of sale, barcode scanners, weighing devices, and networking systems. This position supports Publix retail stores and involves traveling between them to perform on-site work. Shifts for this position are variable, based on the demands of current projects, and will involve overnight, evening, early morning, and/or daytime work depending on the task. Workdays are primarily Monday thru Friday, but on occasion, weekend work may be required. This position will augment support in other areas when needed.

　　candidate must live in the Chattanooga/Knoxville, TN area or must be willing to relocate there upon acceptance of the position Associates degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience one year of PC/Technical support experience basic understanding of IT hardware and industry standards basic understanding of Windows Operating Systems basic understanding of thermal and laser printing analytical and troubleshooting skills cable management and troubleshooting skills computer and electronic equipment installation skills must be at least 20 years of age must have a valid driver license and maintain an excellent driving record ability and willingness to work an overnight schedule, occasionally for extended periods ability and willingness to be on call, weekends and holidays as needed ability to lift up to 75 lbs. ability to climb and work on a ladder ability to crouch, kneel and work in confined areas for extended periods ability to use hand and power tools flexible and able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently on multiple projects good human relations skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team member) obvious enthusiasm, initiative and pride in work, and a commitment to Publix and our Mission

　　certifications in the field of electronics or Computer Science such as Cisco Certification, A+ Certification, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, HP Certification, or Lexmark Certification three years PC/Technical support experience basic understanding of Active Directory experience using problem reporting and ticketing systems understanding of the Publix retail environment basic understanding of building construction/remodeling good organizational, time management, problem-solving and analytical skills good verbal and written communication skills must be able to work independently and as part of a team able to work under pressure to meet deadlines

　　Potential Annual Base Pay

　　48,152 - 66,976

　　Year End Bonus

　　To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week's pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks' pay.
