Position Summary
Working as part of the tight-knit IP Docketing team, you should be flexible in your approach and keen to develop your professional knowledge in a fast-paced and stimulating working environment.
Although primarily focused on day-to-day operational matters, you will also work across a wide range of projects. You can anticipate unforeseen challenges and will be both resilient and pragmatic in your approach to managing change.
Supporting our Partners, Technical Advisors and Paralegals, you will develop a good understanding of our IP Practice.
Duties and Accountabilities 1
Process and docket US & Foreign mail, email correspondence from foreign associates and USPTO email correspondence on a daily basis Process new matter requests and matter description revisions Work with other Docket Clerks to coordinate incoming and outgoing file transfers Process and docket internal attorney updates Conduct status checks and updates to docket and maintain records of such Create and general reports for attorneys, staff, and clients
Qualifications
At least 2 years of IP Docketing experience (preferably on CPA Global) Detailed-oriented with good analytical and critical thinking skills ability to work independently as well as part of a team Ability to work overtime as needed Strong academic record and intellectual curiosity, creative thinker Strong time management skills, ability to stay calm under pressure when juggling multiple tasks Driven by professional growth Strong professional presence Client service focus Team player Strong judgment Proactive, resourceful, takes initiative Fluency in English
Location and Reporting
This is a hybrid in-office/remote role, which can be based in our New York, Boston or Tampa office. This role reports to the Associate Director, Managing Clerks Department.
