The Role:
Yubico’s Investor Relations Director is responsible for managing relationships with our investors and shareholders, communicating the company's financial performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Located in Stockholm, you’ll be reporting into the Stockholm based CFO and work closely with the global communications team.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong understanding of financial communication, tech companies with global reach and the regulations related to a public company for both Sweden and Stockholm financial markets. You need to possess excellent communication skills and have a proven track record in building and implementing a successful IR internal and external strategy, building and maintaining strong relationships with financial and business press and analysts. We’re seeking someone that is detail-oriented, a self-starter and self-motivated with strong analytical skills. This role requires the skill set it takes to work cross-functionally in a variety of time zones, sometimes managing “off-hour” meetings to accommodate schedules.
Tasks & Responsibilities:Develop and implement a Swedish focused investor relations strategy that can support a global audienceActively track, manage and report on company ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) programs and resultsBuild and maintain relationships with existing and potential investors and various analyst and press verticals including financial, business and technologyCommunicate the company's financial performance to investors, analysts and other stakeholdersRespond to inquiries from investors, analysts, media and other stakeholdersOwn drafting of press releases, crafting the CEO statement in the quarterly reports, assist with investor presentation material and lead the annual report project.Own script development and coordination for investor events, earnings calls, investor conferences, and shareholder meetingsCollaborate with internal teams, including CEO, finance, marketing and legal to ensure consistent messaging across all intended audiences (ie: investors, media, analysts, internal)Working closely with the global communications team to drive media relations strategy for financial and business media related to earnings Actively manage and update financial and business media lists, in cooperation with the global communications team Expand media database to build new reporter relationships Manage and develop new/existing relationships with press Create executive briefs and talking points to ensure consistent message delivery in the pressIn the future, this role may be responsible for additional local media relations activities to secure consistent press across finance, enterprise, vertical and consumer publications Support product announcements and strategic joint partner initiatives with creative and comprehensive press activities Monitor news and current events to stay ahead of the curve on breaking industry stories, and identify potential media opportunities for Yubico
