The Supply Chain Loss Prevention (SCLP) Execution team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Investigations Specialist to support and analyze daily loss related escalations in Amazon’s growing supply chain. This role is an exciting opportunity to join a new team in a growing field for Amazon.
The successful candidate has a background in supply chain, transportation, or loss prevention, along with excellent program management skills. The successful candidate will query and analyze data, drive process improvements, standardize current processes, and eliminate the root cause of defects within the existing systems. This job will require exceptional communication skills to remove barriers and streamline operations.
Key job responsibilities
· Conduct ambiguous and routine fraud investigations.
· Systematically intake, escalate, and triage problems to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered.
· Pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, SQL, or other data management systems) to perform weekly reporting and analysis.
· Support SCLP Execution’s internal customers by acting as a liaison between them and SCLP Execution leadership
· Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
· Identify fraudulent activity by deep diving, compiling, and leveraging information from internal reporting, data analysis, LP reported incidents.
· Use tools, data analysis, and collaborate with internal partners to identify fraudulent activities.
· Identify and find solutions for current gaps in the reporting and the data points surrounding loss in the supply chain.
· Leverage fraud models/strategies to mitigate fraud/loss while minimizing customer and operation impacts.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of professional or military experience
2+ years of work experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations related fields
1+ years of experience or coursework with data systems and data analysis
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in the Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations related fields
2+ years of pulling and analyzing large sets of data 1+ years of experience or coursework with SQL (i.e., multi-table joins, table creation, and data validation). Ability to use SQL to develop complex queries for ad hoc analysis requests. ·
1+ years of experience or coursework in relational databases (Access, MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server), Excel, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Visual Basic, Windows operating systems)
Knowledge of the supply chain or Amazon systems and fulfillment center processes
Track record of calculated risk-taking to develop and deliver innovative solutions to meet or exceed customer expectations
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $31,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $71,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
