Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Inventory Specialist to join our team in Holland.
As a Inventory Specialist, you will:
Complete inventory cycle counts. Conduct initial root cause analysis and research data to resolve discrepancies. Understand warehouse strategies and layouts and conduct master data setups. Validate and correct inventory movements and status. Recommend and participate in continuous improvement activities which support lean inventory practices. Adhere to proper inventory and storage procedures.
Do you have these required qualifications?
Associates degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or Data Processing.
2 years of experience in inventory management, distribution, supply chain or logistics.
If no degree listed above, 6 years of experience in inventory management, distribution, supply chain or logistics is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain valid forklift license.
Ability to lift material/product weighing up to 50 pounds.
Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
Do you have these preferred qualifications?
Experience working with SAP & AMAPS.
Familiar with advanced features of Excel.
Worked in panels manufacturing environment.
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
Understanding of Just In Time (JIT) concepts, theory of constraints and lean philosophy.
Knowledge of supply chain integration touch points from supplier through manufacturing.
Mathematical, problem solving, and analytical skills.
Advanced navigation and computer skills. Accuracy in data loading.
