The Inventory Compliance Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that an organization's inventory management practices adhere to established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This position involves overseeing inventory control, accuracy, and compliance to minimize loss, optimize stock levels, and maintain accurate financial records.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leverages their knowledge of the business, accounting, complex processes, regulations, legislation, and risk to support the business process owners in implementing the organization’s compliance and ethics programs.
Work with the Management teams to ensure remediation plans close identified gaps and monitoring activities are implemented to allow for sustainability.
Execute testing of operational controls, accounting/finance, business process, and SOX controls objectively and professionally.
Demonstrate critical/creative thinking skills by helping determine the most impactful direction of complex operational compliance activities and identifying improvement opportunities that drive the most value for the company.
Demonstrate verbal/written communication skills by collaborating with Internal Audit and Compliance team members, building relationships with process/control owners, effectively resolving conflicts, and concisely capturing procedures/results in working papers and reports.
Coordinate and participate in the execution of annual inventory observations for finished goods, raw materials, production parts, cooler parts, and fleet parts, as necessary.
Manage distressed inventory and short dated product Responsible for inventory/material dispositions Monitor completeness, accuracy, and compliance during inventory transactions.
Track, audit, and ensure adequate supply of inventory throughout the organization.
Support the planning/organization of physical inventories.
Act as a liaison to other departments (Systems/Purchasing/Production) Communicate with production team about current stock and potential issues with orders.
Conduct daily analyses to forecast potential inventory issues Report on inventory activities and variances Conduct and report on inventory cycle counts.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
3+ years of operational compliance, audit experience, or years of related business experience
Experience working in all environments, including manufacturing plants and distribution centers.
Experience with SAP (database management), MS Office, and other reporting tools
Experience in regulatory compliance, preferably in facilities or distribution center setting
Familiarity with OSHA, DOT, FDA, and other applicable regulations
Effective communication and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.
Up to 50% travel may be required.
