Apply now!We are now hiring for a Inventory Damage Recoup Associate!Job Overview:The Damage Recoup associate will be ensuring proper handling of damaged and/or spoiled merchandise daily. The Damage Recoup associate is responsible for reviewing and processing returns from retailers including the salvage program. This position will also process vendor returns in accordance with policies and procedures. They will also help support inventory projects and programs to ensure accuracy and in compliance with service levels.Some of what we are looking for:Monitors and process store returns, driver check-in process and salvage programsMonitors and process product velocity and tracks lost sales and in-house damagesResearch mis-slots and quality issues, verifies pick slots and back stock verificationProcesses return to vendor requests in accordance with standard operating proceduresAlerts management of potential safety problems or violationsTrack food bank donations and salvaged productResponsible for proper handling of damaged and/or spoiled merchandise dailyCollect and relocate merchandise as necessary to correct inventory problemsPerform duties in accordance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies and procedures, as appropriate for locationPerforms other relevant job duties as requiredEducation/ Certifications:High school diploma or GED requiredCapability of being licensed in operating powered industrial equipmentExperience:Have an understanding of procedures in other areas of the warehouse for a more global understanding of all processes.Experience as a selector or lift operator (strongly preferred)1-2 years of data entry experience preferredKnowledge:Understanding of safety guidelinesUnderstanding of paperwork and reporting methods related to tracking inventoryStrong knowledge of applicable warehouse mgmt. system and RF systemSkills/ Abilities:Attention to detailAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
