　　The Team: The Inventory Control Supervisor is part of the Mattel San Bernardino Distribution Center Management team.  

　　Job Description

　　The Opportunity: 

　　The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for providing day to day guidance and support to the Distribution Center inventory team to meet or exceed goals and ensuring policies and practices are executed consistently.

　　Provides direction and guidance to the distribution center inventory team.Ensures consistency in execution of policies, processes and practicesOversees programs and processes such as cycle counting, transfer of product between facilities, product problems and resolution, inventory balances and adjustments, book audits, and invoicingCoordinates activities with other departments as needed.Serve as the main point of contact for corporate inquiries, customers, and vendors.Other projects or tasks as assigned by your manager.

　　SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Supervises employees in accordance with the organization’s policies, practices, and applicable law.Other supervisory responsibilities include but are not limited to interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and discipline employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Qualifications What We’re Looking For: 

　　3+ years of experience in an inventory or operational leadership roleBachelor’s degree preferred.Equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to travel up to 25% of the time.Able to collaborate with staff at all levels and locations, customers, and vendors.Skilled at creating and maintaining functional and cross-functional partnerships.Strong writing skills. Able to write reports and correspondences.Strong reading skills. Able to read and interpret documents such as shipping documents, bills of lading, reports, safety rules/ procedures, operating and maintenance instructions.Strong oral communication skills. Able to speak effectively before groups of employees, management customers, executives and other corporate partners.Strong analytical and reasoning skills. Abe to analyses and interpret reports, graphs, and other data.Strong mathematic skills- ability to calculate figures such as percentages, volume, cost, time.Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment preferredComputer with Windows based operating systemMicrosoft Office (intermediate or above)  

　　The annual base salary range for this position is between $80,750 and $85,000.

　　**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
