We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to join our Inventory Control team here in Amsterdam. Leading a team of 2 team leaders and 16 indirect reports.
In our Amsterdam sites, we are dedicated to serving one client. Our client is ranked in the Top 50 of the Fortune 500 and operates in the High Tech industry.
What you do on a typical day Together with your team, you are responsible for achieving and surpassing set goals and KPIs. Assisting in defining objectives and ensure that new strategies and innovations are implemented. Drafting various reports and analyzing them. Providing training to existing and new employees. Ensuring a safe working environment, encouraging team spirit, and creating work schedules. Stakeholder management; active communication with the client, management, HR, customer service, and operations in this role. In this position, you will directly lead 2 x team leaders and 16 indirect warehouse employees. Additionally, you will closely collaborate with other Warehouse managers at various sites. You report directly to the Inventory ControlManager. What you need to succeed at GXO
Minimum of 3 years of recent work experience as a Warehouse Manager, Supervisor or Supervisor Inventory Control. You are a natural leader with experience in coaching employees. Fluent proficiency in English, both spoken and written, (Dutch would be an advantage). Highly flexible and thrive in a rapidly changing environment. Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS). Customer-oriented, excellent communication skills, and strong time-management skills. Analytical skills Skilled in Excel What we offer you This role is site based working Monday - Friday standard office hours 40 hours a week. Competitive salary + travel allowance.
