Job Description:
Job Title/High Level Position Summary:
The Inventory control supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the Inventory Control and Replenishments operations of the DFW DC. The supervisor will follow standard procedures and policies that maximize inventory management efficiency and accuracy. The supervisor oversees the daily cycle counts of the various inventory assets and reconcile any discrepancies, along with overseeing the replenishment process to ensure inventory is available to meet customer orders. The supervisor is also responsible for training and providing feedback to the Inventory Control team, and for publishing metrics information regarding Cycle Counts and Replenishments on a daily and weekly basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Establishing and executing cycle count schedules in compliance with corporate accounting objectivesCoordinating and overseeing the daily cycle counts of various inventory assets.Monitoring the status of inventory to ensure that it is accurately tracked and managed.Coordinating and overseeing the daily replenishment processSupervising the daily activities of the inventory control staff and assigning tasksEnsuring adequate levels of inventory are maintained and replenished as needed.Supervising and coordinating the taking of periodic physical inventories and verifying the results.Reporting and resolving inventory issues and discrepancies.Implementing and using inventory control methods or technology to improve efficiency and security

Qualifications:
Effective communication and organizational skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience, or 5 years of experience in Inventory Control / Distribution / Warehouse experience (3 of which in a leadership position)Associate degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience of Inventory Control / Distribution / Warehouse experience (4 of which in a leadership position)High School Diploma with a minimum of 10 years of Inventory Control / Distribution / Warehouse experience (5 of which in a leadership position)
