The Robotics Manufacturing & Technical Operations (RMTO) team is seeking a Inventory Control Specialist to develop and manage a comprehensive production control process to assist with high volume manufacturing and emerging products and technology. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for monitors and regulates all aspects of our inventory processes by standardizing the material transactions within our factories and maintaining the data integrity within our MRP systems: BOM, part classifications, part routing, and inventory accuracy. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of material management processes.
Key job responsibilities
Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts
Monitor, measure, and oversee implementation of engineering changes to insure timely incorporation in MRP system
Maintain production BOM in Oracle EBS (MRP) and Proplanner (MES) (Part number, Material information, Effective Point Information)
Material Master management - create MFG Bill of Materials and part master information (MRP view, Work center, Routing, Part Classification, Part Supply Type, Production version, Standard cost, Module no)
Maintain alignment and inventory accuracy between 3PL WMS system and Amazon MRP system via EDI/API or manual transactions
Maintain production BOM in Oracle EBS (MRP)/Proplanner (MES) (Part number, Material information, Effective Point Information)
Material consumption tracking for material closing and inventory accuracy (weekly, Monthly)
Track material/part history to ensure integrity of MRP system
Follow up with IT team for Oracle EBS system improvement to improve functionalities including user acceptance testing
Coordinate ECO (Engineering Change Order) implementation with operation teams
Manage ECO part changes including effectivity dates, phase out dates, and Oracle EBS critical attributes
Participate in Change Control Board (CCB) as an advocate for manufacturing
Reviewing and trouble-shooting inventory transaction issues, and develop corrective actions.
Prepare monthly/weekly inventory metric reports
Creating standard operating procedures on defined work paths

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience
2+ years of domain experience in the areas of manufacturing, supply chain operations, or materials management
Ability to work independently and efficiently on various assignments at once
Knowledge of material resource planning (MRP) and manufacturing execution systems (MES) specifically Oracle and Proplanner
Strong communication skills both within the team and with external stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as high attention-to-detail
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing and executing large projects from start to finish, including project management, data gathering and modeling, problem solving, and communicating recommendations
Experience with SQL
APICS Certification CPIM
Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
