Warehouse Coordinator – Memphis, Tennessee
Warehouse Coordinator - onsite
As an Inventory Control Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate levels of inventory for our Memphis facility. In doing so, you will process incoming orders as well as be responsible for all inbound and outbound freight.
What You Will Do:
Process Orders
Processing incoming RDC orders.
Order stock items for Branches when necessary.
Assist in managing MRP orders.
Work with the RDC Warehouse Coordinator to ensure all RDC orders are processed and shipped out daily.
Assist Branches with finding correct parts needed.
Maintain Daily Order Spreadsheets.
Work with the RDC Manager to Order Class II Stock
Work with the RDC manager to order Class II material for stock.
Put Class II stock into the correct storage location.
Maintain proper stock levels and control inventory.
Put the Class II part number on the parts
Safety Program
Order and maintain stock of New Hire Safety items.
Work with CM/IC/SM to ensure all techs have the proper safety items. Distribute safety items when requested.
Maintain MSDS Binder
Responsible For Inbound and Outbound Freight
Assist Warehouse Coordinator in receiving material from the factory and vendors.
Organize warehouse to receive equipment. This may include designating where each job goes when the trailer arrives: e.g. Bay 1, Rack A, etc.
Match packing lists to purchase orders.
Maintain Open PO and Closed PO logs.
Check Inbound Deliveries for damage and file/process any claims.
Maintain warehouse
Help keep warehouse clean and orderly Dispose of waste and scrap according to company policies.
Physical Inventory
Assist CM and RDC manager in preparing for inventory.
Storage locations should be locked.
Maintain proper inventory levels of Class II & Class III, do not over order.
Assist in physical inventory, including counts and organize parts.
Identify Excess & Obsolete inventory and work with the CM/SM and RDC manager for disposal per company policy.
What You Need to Succeed:
High School diploma or equivalent
3-5 years related experience preferred
Knowledge of SAP is preferred
Knowledge of Word and Excel in addition to basic computer proficiency is required.
Must be capable of lifting medium to heavy materials
Basic Carpentry skills required
