Momar is looking for an Inventory Clerk!
*Job Summary:Reporting to the Inventory Control Supervisor, the Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining the processes and integrity of inventory, both digitally and physically, at Momar's headquarters and Seaboard location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
Perform regular cycle counts to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory in NAV.Conduct data entry of cycle counts and report information to the analyst/coordinator for troubleshooting.Collaborate with the manufacturing and purchasing departments to coordinate inventory needs with critical timing.Assist in maintaining legible bin location labels, replacing them as needed.Create new bin locations and labels as necessary.Monitor MFG-PKG bins and PK2 packaging areas at the beginning and end of shifts for potential refill needs.Coordinate with the Supervisor of Packaging and Packaging Lead to ensure an adequate supply of packaging materials.Assist Material Handlers with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for pulling and returning inventory required for batching, packaging, and shipping.Coordinate with the Receiving Clerk for proper storage of materials in the warehouse or outside after receiving.Contribute to maintaining a safe environment by identifying and addressing issues such as damaged pallets/totes, un-banded pallets, misplaced materials, and unbalanced pallet loads.Help maintain a clean work area by addressing pallet debris, broken pallet bands, and other trash in Inventory Control areas.Inspect scissor lifts and other equipment for safety at the beginning of each shift.Fill out inspection paperwork as required.Complete assigned tasks and special projects as directed by the Supervisor of Inventory Control.Support all safety, cleanliness, and quality initiatives within the inventory control domain.Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to operate a forklift and/or heavy machinery.Self-motivated with ability to work independently and make decisions without supervision.Strong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent1 year experience in inventory control or related roles.Physical Requirements:
Ability to routinely lift and/or move to 50 lbs. unassisted.Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle/feel items, reach with hands and arms, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and talk or hear.Able to perform job tasks in sometimes dusty, hot and/or cold working conditions.Shift hours are from 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday.
