SQA mission is to deliver high quality SW to our customers. In order to deliver high quality SW, thorough and robust testing is required. As an intern, you will participate in regression test suite improvement. This requires integrating additional tests to existing regression suite and enabling automation to reduce manual testing steps. As an SQA engineer, you will review test requirements, identify tests, compare the test results against baseline and integrate tests into regression suite. As an SQA engineer, you will review test methodology to enable or improve automation to reduce/remove manual testing steps. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices inChandler Arizona, San Jose and San Diego California, Wilton Connecticut, and Hillsboro Oregon.
Role and responsibilities
Create, execute and update test plans for projects to perform functional, system, and integration testing.
Integrate additional test cases into existing automated regression suite.
Develop software tools to assist with test automation in any of following areas:
Improve/automate test results verification & validation
Improve/automate regression job status monitoring/reporting
Improve/automate SW release packaging process
Improve/automate Jira ticket state updates with R&D code check_ins into different branches
Education and experience
Studying toward degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Junior or Senior level of study
Skills
Required technical skills, knowledge and abilities:
Knowledge/hands-on experience with testComplete, Robot framework, qTest, Jira, Bamboo (Nice to have)
Knowledge of operating system, software algorithm and data structure, relational database, concurrent computing
Knowledge in in Linux/Windows environment
proficient in python, shell script and C#
Soft skill requirements: strong English communication skills - both written and oral

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently $17.00 - $53.00. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
