　　This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

　　Roles and responsibilities

　　The Summer Intern in the Optical Assembly group will work on various projects related to precision, semi-automated Optical Assembly processes. The projects will be related to analyzing Production build data to determine opportunities for improvement in equipment, tooling, software, and the process. The equipment/software will be a combination of commercially produced and custom designed equipment/software. Examples of the equipment are precision alignment assembly tools, measurement tools such as CMM's, Interferometers, Spectrophotometers, thickness measurement systems, microscopes. The focus will be on identifying real world Production issues, researching alternatives, and testing those alternatives when possible.

　　Student studying Optical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Physics Engineering.
