Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Finance Technology Intern.

Position Overview:
The Eaton Internship Program - Digital Finance & Innovation is designed to provide opportunities to a diverse mix of students who demonstrate the same high level of ethics, values, creativity and performance we expect from our employees. This program provides exposure to our Finance Technology function. During the 12-14 week paid internship, students will work on projects that have a measurable impact on our operations and will be coached and mentored by Eaton leaders.
We are catalysts for change -- driving efficiencies, enabling innovation, and developing solutions to help enable the transformation of our Eaton finance function to deliver critical insights to our operations. As an intern of the Finance Technology team, you will be embedded within our finance function to drive increased usage of modern technologies that will complement and enhance our existing financial systems landscape.
After completion of the internship and upon graduation, your experience and newly acquired skills could lead you to a variety of career paths within Eaton's finance function. At Eaton, you will be gaining experience in determining out how to optimize Eaton's existing technology while also identifying modern technology and assisting in designing and developing innovative solutions; taking the lead on assigned data governance enhancement projects; and developing and delivering end-user training. Additionally, your assignments may provide the opportunity to work on cross-functional teams with personnel from other departments, including Audit, Tax, and various Operations Finance groups, allowing for a broad experience across multiple Finance functions
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree program in business with a major in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a similar business or technology degree from an accredited institution.Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher (please do not round).Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship.Relocation is not provided for this role, the candidate must be located within 50 miles of Beachwood, OH.
Preferred Qualifications:
Applicable coursework and/or minor in Business Analytics/Data ScienceDemonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or the communityMinimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher (please do not round)Self-motivated and a strong desire to achieve results Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Position Criteria:
This role may include travel (up to 10%) within a local region as determined by the assignment manager.Transportation to and from the worksite and for incidental business travel is the responsibility of the intern; however, expenses for required and approved business travel (not including the worksite) will be reimbursed
