Job Description
As a Machine Learning Intern at ASML, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our team of experts on real-world machine learning projects. This internship is designed to provide you with valuable experience and insights into the field of machine learning while contributing to our ongoing research and development efforts.
Collaborate with our machine learning team on various projects, assisting with data collection, preprocessing, and analysis.
Implement and fine-tune machine learning models using Python and C++, along with popular machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and data structures in C++.
Create unit tests to ensure the reliability and performance of machine learning models and algorithms.
Conduct experiments, evaluate model performance, and suggest improvements based on the results.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to solve complex problems.
Assist in documenting project progress, methodologies, and findings.

Education and Experience
Must be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or relevant related field of engineering
Proficiency in Python and C++ for implementing machine learning models, algorithms, and unit tests.
Familiarity with a wide range of machine learning algorithms, techniques, and frameworks.
Hands-on experience in developing and implementing machine learning models in projects, either academically or professionally.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with unit testing methodologies and frameworks.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

This position is located on-site in san Jose, CA. It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently $17.00 - $53.00. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
