Grow with the pros in this hands-on global content & digital marketing internship. Develop yourself within this internship about content marketing, managing social media channels and reaching the horticulture target audience and the best ways to bring them along in the customer journey.
Philips Horticulture LED Solutions creates LED lights to grow crops; either in greenhouses or in vertical farm environments (www.philips.com/horti). Grow lights bring additional yield, quality and predictability to the grower's crop.
We are always looking for ways to further professionalize our way of working by targeting our audience with the right marketing tools at the right time. Second, we would like to generate more leads through our on and offline efforts; web, social media, newsletter, seo, sea, content marketing, advertising etc.
Your responsibilities Execute and produce content based on editorial calendar, from concept phase to final delivery and activation. Content assets could include offline/online articles, press releases, case studies, research articles, blogs, social posts, videos, white papers, checklists, infographics, webinars, presentations, web copy etc.Managing social media channels (b2b environment)Work with the local markets to optimize central strategy and translate/localize to market needs.Report on the performance of all content performance and suggest improvement points social and digital channels and define improvement actions.Develop content and ideas to support product launch, events, and to claim thought leadership space within horticulture industrySupport on marketing communication activities and (customer) events.Your team
The Horticulture LED Solutions team consist of about 180 enthusiastic team members globally. The global Marcom team consists of 4 people and is based in Eindhoven. You will closely work with the marcom managers and marketing team globally.

We are looking for Affinity and experience in content production with an ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on timeInterest in managing or expanding social media channelsEditorial expertise including copywriting skills for short/long form content and social media, with the ability to evaluate and give clear, constructive feedback on ideas, texts, etc.Build relationships with cross-functional teamsHighly organized, energetic, proactive and flexible team player.Fluent in English, written and verballyInterest or affinity with the horticulture (greenhouse) industry (is a plus)A flexible self-starter with strong communication skillsNotes EU/EER students: In order to be considered for this internship, you need to be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation of this may be requested at any time. Non-EU students in Dutch Universities: You need to be registered as a student and your university needs to sign the Nuffic Agreement. The internship needs to be a compulsory part of your studies (receive ECTS in turn). In case of non-compulsory internship, you need to have a letter from the university in which it states that your internship contributes to your personal development, what your learning goals are and what tasks you will undertake during your internship. The letter has to be signed and stamped by your university. Non-EU students in non-Dutch Universities: You need to be registered as a student and the internship should be a compulsory part of your studies.
