　　SUMMARY

　　ANSYS, Inc. seeks International Tax Manager to work in Canonsburg, PA

　　RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Work closely with the Director - International Tax and will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of tax planning strategies and for preparing the calculations of U.S. international income taxes (subpart F, GILTI, FTC, etc.) for compliance and quarterly financial statement reporting. Assist with the development and implementation of tax-efficient strategies designed to mitigate tax risk while optimizing worldwide tax expense and cash taxes. Research and document new and existing tax law, proposed transactions, and initiatives, while working with the Director - International Tax to determine its application to ANSYS. Prepare the calculation and analysis of information necessary to support earnings and profits, Subpart F inclusions, GILTI, CBC reporting, tax basis and foreign tax credit computations for purposes of tax compliance, quarterly financial reporting, and tax planning. Ensure data accuracy for purposes of U.S. federal international income tax return compliance filings including, but not limited to, Forms 5471, 8858, 8975, 8992, and 1118 and necessary elections and statements. Review payments to foreign vendors for any required withholding tax obligations, and maintain the Company's database repository of foreign withholding Forms W-8BEN-E according to IRS guidelines, as well as prepare annual Forms 1042. Support in preparing formal responses to international aspects of domestic audits and/or notices, as needed.

　　MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

　　Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study, and Five (5) years of experience in a corporate international taxation role. Alternate Acceptable Education and Work Experience Requirement: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study, and seven (7) years of experience in a corporate international taxation role. Work experience or academic coursework must have included: Researching tax technical issues and developing supportable conclusions; Writing memoranda to support positions taken on the US Corporate Income Tax Return; Preparation and review of US Corporate Income Tax Returns and supporting schedules/calculations; Use of Microsoft Excel to develop tax models; knowledge of Internal Revenue Code and Treasury RegulationsAdditional work location information: May permit telecommuting from home office within commuting distance to an Ansys office.
