Job Summary : As a Internal Strategy - Consulting Director, you will lead a practice of consultants on strategic improvement efforts through current state assessments, quantitative analyses, and ideal future state designs. Internal Strategy - Consulting Directors serve as trusted advisors to executive-level stakeholders, delivering recommendations, robust implementation plans, and execution support to realize business improvement targets.
Job Responsibilities :
Develop and execute strategies to achieve breakthrough improvements in Operational Excellence, process capability, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction
Lead direct and matrixed resources to effectively design and deliver strategic solutions
Hire, develop, and maintain a team of consultants
Effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management to enable business and financial results
Be a recognized culture carrier who leads with consistency, integrity, and humility
Develop long-term strategies to implement Lean process improvement methodologies across Operations to achieve and sustain measurable improvement
Partner with Operations leaders to enhance capabilities and promote a culture of continuous improvement
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills :
10 years of post-graduate work experience
Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience at a premier management consulting firm
Proven ability to deliver results on complex projects across global geographies and under tight deadlines
Demonstrated success leading large-scale Operational Excellence deployments and strategic initiatives
Willingness and ability to put hands-on experience to use as a co-contributor
Outstanding people management and organizational development skills
Flexibility to influence stakeholders and colleagues at all levels
Ability to travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
5 years of management consulting experience
5 years of product operations management experience
Strong background in banking operations and technology
Knowledge of Design Thinking and Agile methodology
