Canadian National Railway Company (CN) is looking for a highly motivated person to fulfill a full-time (40h/week) Intern, US Property Tax position in Homewood, IL from May – August 2024.
Job Summary
The Intern, United States (U.S.) Property Tax is responsible for assisting the Manager, U.S. Property Taxes with updating property tax assessments and payments on U.S. assets. The incumbent contributes occasionally to the review of state-assessed property valuations. Additionally, the role performs miscellaneous tasks, including other types of tax compliance as needed.
Major Responsibilities
Pay property taxes to various authorities
Assist with compiling annual property tax filings
Review annual assessment notices and update internal records that rely on this information
Perform clerical tasks associated with property tax payment processes
Carry out other tasks as needed
