THE ROLE
As an HR Intern, you will have the opportunity to experience, learn and develop your skills within the HR team for all global supporting functions (for example Finance, IT and Supply Chain) based in our head office in Amsterdam. In this role you will have a great opportunity to acquire a solid understanding of the different processes and supporting technologies at Coty. While you report to the Senior HR Director for Finance, IT and Business Services, you will be a part of the overall team consisting of six other HR colleagues reporting to the HR SVP Global Functions.
Your responsibilities would be summarized around the following pillars: Global supporting functions Coordinate and support the organization of the overall global functions team. Contribute to projects/initiatives from one or more of the global functions, for example in the area of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion or recruitment. Build a dedicated global functions communication calendar and produce any related communication activities relevant to the functions. Identify creative ways of fostering engagement and collaboration in the team. Talent management and capability development Engage and support the Sky Leadership Program and the Supply Chain Executive Leadership Program Coordinate, facilitate and assist in relevant trainings for the functions. Co-develop people related trainings on the dedicated supporting functions on Coty Academy, our learning system. People analytics & data management Produce monthly data dashboards and ad hoc reports/analysis Identify opportunity to automate and harmonize further the data report and dashboard Improve key data points in our Success factors HR system. Support (employee) survey deployments Other If and where appropriate, the intern could be asked to support other HRBP tasks, including those that benefit their understanding of the HR role and/or are part of their internship assignment.
REQUIREMENTS
Have a rampant passion for HR. Currently enrolled in a relevant academic program, for example in Business Administration or a specialization in human resources. Understand general HR processes and policies. Have excellent people and teamwork skills. Able to work in a team as well as independent. Being comfortable in working with data. Strong communication skills. Able to work in an international work environment. Have commitment to delivering a high level of customer service, both internally and externally. Able to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. Flexibility, adaptability and a positive "can-do" attitude are a must. Fluent in English.
PERIOD
This internship is full-time (40 hours per week), for a duration of 5-6 month. Preferably starting in September or February. You will receive an internship allowance and NS Business Card if you do not have a student public transport card. The internship can be combined with a thesis. Be aware that this will largely have to be done in your own time.
