An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Interest Rate Swaps (IRS) Product Manager to join the London-based team. A key position within one of our highest revenue generating business streams, the right individual will have sound product and market experience and be able to add value to the existing IRS business, capitalising on all opportunities for growth and maximising market share. The successful candidate will be capable of building excellent relationships with key members of relevant trading and sales desks, along with a good understanding of client needs ready to integrate into Tradeweb's IRS strategy and direction for the platform. This position requires commercial insight, a good understanding of e-trading solutions and market / product expertise.
Job Responsibilities
Help drive the IRS business in terms of participation, volumes and revenues. Demonstrate business and product ownership, proactively driving growth forward to maximise opportunity. Work with the Product Management and Sales teams to develop and maintain an active network of key stakeholders, leveraging relationships to improve business insight and product offering. Originate, develop and maintain excellent relationships with new and existing dealers. Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute an effective and cohesive sales strategy. Communicate effectively with internal groups to drive consensus on business direction, seek input and share knowledge to ensure a cohesive sales and product development strategy. Communicate effectively with client groups, educate clients through product demonstrations and feedback. Understand market and regulatory developments and their impact on the business; incorporate this breadth of knowledge into business development strategy. Extend Tradeweb's position as a market leader of OTC e-trading, keeping up to date with market developments and competitor intelligence to maintain competitive advantage. Develop a thorough understanding of Tradeweb's development processes and requirements working closely with the global technology teams to harmonise product development. Develop a thorough understanding operational requirements i.e. STP requirements for both clients and banks. Prepare and provide regular management information; update relevant teams and senior management regularly to ensure effective and real-time global communication.
