Intel Capital is the corporate venture capital arm of Intel, investing in early-stage startups across four key areas of the tech ecosystem: Silicon, Frontier, Devices, and Cloud. Founded in 1991, Intel Capital is investing in the future of compute. Over three decades, Intel Capital has invested more than 20 billion USD in early-stage startups. Intel Capital-funded companies have created more than 150 billion USD in market value in the past 10 years. This role will directly support Intel Capital's portfolio of equity invested startups with business development across EMEA.
The opening is based in the UK, but alternate locations can include Germany or the Netherlands.
The Portfolio Development Manager (PDM) will be responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned objectives with key stakeholders across Intel, Intel Capital, Intel Capital's portfolio of startups, customers, and partners.
The PDM will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize business for Intel Capital's portfolio of equity invested startups at Intel's end customers and across early technology adopters in EMEA.
A major focus of the role is to develop a customer base in the region for our portfolio companies to engage with and develop commercial relationships. This will include a broad strategy across key verticals to target large to medium sized enterprises.
The role will include collaborating with portfolio company executive leadership to ensure their understanding of Intel's broad range of products, technologies, and strategy.
The PDM is also expected to build relationships with key stakeholders across Intel's Sales and Marketing Group to ensure strong and sustained communication to our account teams, evangelizing the adoption of the products and solutions from Intel Capitals's portfolio companies.The PDM will partner closely with Intel Capital's investment team in EMEA to drive successful outcomes.
Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION and JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE:
BSEE/BSCS or equivalent discipline. Masters or MBA a Plus.For this role we're seeking 10+ years of experience in selling/marketing software products , building and executing sales enablement programs with Intel's customers including enterprises, OxMs and Channel customers.Solution sales experience and customer management, as well as a solid technical background and MBA, would be distinct advantages.
Program Management Skills:
Ability to develop, execute and grow sales development programs that can scale to effectively work with multiple groups and stakeholdersExperience (5 +years ) high level project / program management experience requiring cross-functional teamwork and senior management alignmentExperience driving regular program reviews from working group through senior managementExperience working across functional and organizational boundariesExperience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple customers and stakeholders.Senior level strategy, decision making and influencing skillsProven written/ verbal communication, teamwork, and negotiation skillsIntegrated program management experience
Customer Relationship Building Skills:
Ability to build productive customer relationships at all levels.
Technical Knowledge and Solution Selling, particularly with IT, Server and Datacenter.Knowledge of enterprise IT technologies, Intel products and platforms and their relationship to enterprise and client solutions.Familiarity with a broad range of current and emerging technologies and products and familiarity with technology trends.Ability to understand how technology solutions across a broad range of portfolio companies could support the customer's business needs, and to drive awareness and early adoption of new Intel Capital portfolio companies' solutionsStrong credibility in enterprise IT, Cloud, AI, Big Data, client technologies and outsourcing.
Strategy skills:
Ability to understand venture-backed company scaling strategies and build aligned plans to accelerate the growth trajectory of these companies with a particular focus on expanding business into EMEA.Proven track record of developing and executing strategic programs that deliver on growth objectives.Experience working with early-stage startups is a bonus.
Communication skills:
Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills are essential to influence at executive level with portfolio companies and within Intel.

Corporate Strategy Office is chartered to support the executive office in driving corporate initiatives, including near and long-term strategy, major cross-group decision making and ensuring cross-company alignment. To deliver to that mission, the team owns shaping, driving and synthesizing insights to directionally orient trends as well as long range strategic planning/visioning , cross company alignment and greenfield innovation. Communications are essential to drive alignment so there is a focus on communications, community and acumen development. The team is ccommitted to ensuring that Intel efforts are aligned to, and actively driving success toward the most impactful business strategies.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
