Integrations & API Development Lead

　　Description

　　Responsible for building high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design. Design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications. Support and/or install software applications. Key participant in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.

　　Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle; Document and demonstrate solutions; Develops flow charts, layouts and documentation

　　Determine feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development and proposed solutions; Understand business needs and know how to create the tools to manage them

　　Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards and programming

　　Recommend state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques and computing equipment; participate in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; participate in professional organizations; remain passionate about great technologies, especially open source

　　Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and issues while protecting IT assets by keeping information confidential; Improve applications by conducting systems analysis recommending changes in policies and procedures

　　Education, Licenses, Certifications

　　College, university, or equivalent degree in computer science, engineering or related subject, or relevant experience equivalent.

　　This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

　　Experience

　　Experience working as a software engineer with the following knowledge and experiences are preferred: Working in Agile environments; Fundamental IT technical skill sets; Taking a system from coping requirements through actual launch of the system; Communicating with users, other technical teams and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates and meet production deadlines; Professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations. Experience in creating robust and scalable integration use cases, considering API design standards, security, scalability and various aspects of design and development.

　　Expertise in best practices and guidelines for complete development life cycle of an API using MuleSoft and all the platform components.

　　Expertise in applicability of integration design patterns to solve complex requirements like real-time data synchronization, event-driven architecture, hybrid integrations, messaging models, streaming etc.

　　Experience in implementing end-to-end integration of various cloud-based, on-prem, SAAS systems like Salesforce, SAP etc. using MuleSoft and/or similar technology, along with delivery aspect of the project.

　　Good knowledge of securing data; understand PGP, SSH, OAuth, HTTPS, and SFTP, scope of security and compliance norms w.r.t data exchange.

　　Good knowledge of deployment models, DevOps pipeline, maven, Jenkins, CI/CD practices and applicability in Integration domain.

　　MuleSoft RTF experience with K8s is a big plus, knowledge of various provision models and offerings wr.r.t scalability and operations.

　　Implement best coding standards, code quality, code review, cascade and improve on design bottlenecks faced during development.

　　Sound experience in converting business requirement into scalable solution architecture and address them via technical deliverables.

　　Knowledge of any of the one or more cloud technologies like AWS, Azure or OCI.

　　Updated on the latest trends in integration, API management, and cloud technologies, and recommend innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement and business outcomes.

　　Experience with messaging infrastructure, WebLogic, MQ, AWS SQS and with Storage like AWS S3.

　　Sound understanding of Agile principles and tools, stakeholder management, requirement gathering.

　　Good understanding of networking, infrastructure, scalability, availability aspects in a product landscape.

　　Technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, offering guidance on best practices, coding standards, and troubleshooting techniques is expected.
