About Integrated Marketing Manager - Quest Japan

  The Reality Labs group brings together world-class experts to develop and ship groundbreaking products at the intersection of hardware, software and content. We are building tools and experiences that make people feel closer together in Virtual Reality (VR). We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead our consumer marketing for Quest in Japan. This person will be responsible for developing distinctive, effective and integrated consumer marketing that builds the Quest brand and accelerates the growth of our business in Japan. This role will be responsible for shaping our success in Japan and have scope to creatively insert Quest into local culture. Our ideal candidate will have experience developing and launching successful and innovative integrated marketing campaigns with a proven track record of strong collaboration. They will have had experience of marketing in Japan; setting commercially-oriented marketing goals and strategies, applying analytical rigor, a deep understanding of consumer segmentation, insights and country-level cultural trends to inform breakthrough campaigns.Additionally, they are a highly effective communicator and collaborator with other teams, including the Global and Regional Marketing, Sales, Creative, and Retail Marketing teams. They're able to work cross functionally with a geographically-dispersed and multi-disciplinary group in the development of marketing strategy, plans and execution.

  Integrated Marketing Manager - Quest Japan Responsibilities:

  Provide leadership and coordination of Quest consumer marketing in JapanDevelop a deep understanding of local priorities (business targets, segmentation, priority markets) and cultural customer insights (consumer/market trends, key reasons as well as barriers to purchase, key feature usage) to be a thought partner with both the Japan and Global teamsDrive creation and execution of integrated marketing strategy & plans for Japan, which consistently deliver against business metrics. Ensuring that previous campaign learnings are being leveragedWork with XF to create and/or input on insightful briefs drawing on different sources of insight and knowledge to weave together creative narratives, including internal and external data sources, to inspire our creative partners in Japan and GlobalWorking closely with the insights team, implement and manage an Analytics & Learning Agenda to demonstrate the impact and return of marketing investment for the business in the short- and long-termCommunicate effectively with stakeholders and teams, driving transparency, coordination and alignment on Japan marketing plansCultivate strong working relationships with internal teams, including Creative, Retail Channel, Sales, Comms, and others, as well as external agency partners, in the development of breakthrough and effective marketingMinimum Qualifications:

  10+ years' experience leading marketing for a consumer-facing brand(s) or in the gaming industryExperience developing country marketing strategy and integrated consumer campaigns at either well established brands, advertising agencies, or consulting firmsDemonstrated ability to collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams, either formally through reporting structure or informally through influenceExperience in identifying and leveraging insights and analyticsUnderstanding of media planning and localisation process in JapanProven experience developing bold, breakthrough integrated marketing campaigns, with specific social media strategies, that drove measurable results at a local or regional levelEffective and inspiring partner to creative agencies in developing stand-out marketing communicationsProven communicator, able to clearly articulate marketing's role and the importance of Japan in driving the businessAbility to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving and ever-changing environmentOutstanding creative sense, plus excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to travel internationally for businessFluent in English and JapaneseBachelor's degreePreferred Qualifications:
