The Research, Analytics, and Development Department is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Specialty Lines Product team! We are looking for an associate that will impact the growth and profitability of our Specialty Lines products by applying a strategic approach based on critical thinking and data-driven quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Our Product Managers and Product Management Analysts develop and execute product design strategies for our insurance business. As an Insurance Product Management Analyst III, you will need to demonstrate the ability to learn and understand terms, concepts, tools, and communication methods used by the department to analyze underwriting and rating experience.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:Work on strategic and analytical projects that will directly impact GEICO's growth and profitability resultsUtilize large dataset to pull insightful takeaways using SAS and SQLAssist product managers by providing statistical exhibits for analysisPresenting data-based analytical observations to the management teamDocumenting project progressions and communicating updates to stakeholdersUnderstanding and applying insurance industry terms and concepts whenever appropriateQualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in quantitative field of study ( Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Insurance, or a related major) Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience with technical languages (SQL, R, or Python) Excellent communication, problem-solving, and creative thinking abilitiesIntellectual curiosity to learn and ability to ask insightful questionsPreferred if you also have: Have work experience with proven analytical skills Experience using tools to query large datasets (SAS, Coginiti, and/or Snowflake) Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI or R Shiny) Working knowledge in insurance or have insurance-related certifications/designations (i.e. AINS, CPCU, ARM, etc.) EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience Benefits:

Annual Salary
$72,000.00 - $113,000.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
