We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician with experience in field calibration, pressure, temperature, and flow and a strong background working with elements and transmitters. The primary objective of the Instrumentation Technician is to ensure the proper functioning and reliability of various measuring and test equipment (M&TE), process instrumentation, production equipment controls, analytical field equipment, and process control systems used in utilities and facilities areas. Responsibilities include maintenance, calibration, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing of electrical, electronic, mechanical, process control systems, and online process analytical equipment of M&TE. The working hours for this position are from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday.

You will…
Conduct skilled calibration and service on various measuring and test equipment (M&TE). in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of calibration work orders and other administrative activities to support daily job functions.
Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks on various measuring and test equipment (M&TE), including transmitters, analytical instruments, and various process instrumentation.
Communicate the status of ongoing calibration and repair activities through various means, such as email, voicemail, and maintenance management systems.
Complete all necessary qualifications on documents, including calibration procedures and standard operating procedures, in a timely manner.
Work with electrical equipment up to and including 480V.
Develop recommendations and techniques for resolving M&TE electrical, controls, hardware, and measurement problems and ensure that newly acquired or developed M&TE performs in accordance with required specifications.
Assist in establishing and documenting appropriate job plans, data sheets, and other service protocols as needed.
Ensure compliance with GxP and safe work policies and procedures at all times in accordance with established company policies.
Complete all required training, including scheduled training, computer-based training, and other training identified in the development plan.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Group Leader, Supervisor, or Sr. Supervisor.
What do you need to do this role? You will need:
High School Diploma or GED is required with 5+ years of experience or relevant certificate with 3+ years of experience or associate's technical degree with 1+ years of experience.
Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools and apply proper hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting.
Understanding and knowledge of a production environment, including boilers, chillers, compressors, and processing instrumentation is preferred.
Skilled in troubleshooting various instrumentation using schematics, technical manuals, and flowcharts.
Ability to quickly learn the theory and operation of newly purchased measuring and test equipment (M&TE) for analytical or process control systems.
Willingness to receive guidance and training from other subject matter experts (SMEs).
Capable of working within and promoting a team environment.
