Boeing Global Services is looking for an Instructional Systems Designer, who will lead design of technical learning solutions to meet customer and stakeholder objectives. Leads research and analysis of learning objectives and customer needs. Designs and provides recommendations to stakeholders on course structure, content, and methodologies. Leads design review process with stakeholders. Supports development of training content to meet learning objectives. Leads evaluation of technical training effectiveness and customer feedback. Develops and leads assessment of new instructional strategies, methods, technologies and tools related to instructional design, development, and delivery. Performs project oversight activities and stakeholder management. Provides mentorship and development to instructional systems designers and content developers.
The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite in Crawley. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Position Responsibilities:
Designs technical learning solutions to meet customer and stakeholder objectives.Researches and analyzes learning objectives and customer needs.Designs and provides recommendations to stakeholders on course structure, content, and methodologies.Completes design review process with stakeholders.Supports development of training content to meet training objectives.Evaluates technical training effectiveness and customer feedback.Supports developing and accessing new instructional strategies, methods, technologies and tools related to instructional design, development, and delivery.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Knowledgeable on Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)Bachelor's Degree or higher in Education, Learning Design, Technology Instructional Design or related field.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience working in a technical and software environment.Experience with Competency Based Training and Assessment or Evidence Based TrainingExperience in aviation.Minimum of 3 years developing e-learning.Be able to developing training for a global audience.Experience with Learning Management Systems.Problem solve a variety of situations and environments, technical and physical.Foundational understanding of Adobe Captivate or similar programs
