The global Monetization Integrity team ensures TikTok users have a safe experience while viewing advertisements. They work closely with advertisers to create ad policies, manage content review processes, and more. As we continue to add advertising on TikTok, this team is critical in assuring a joyful and creative ads experience for the community.
At the forefront of our mission to inspire creativity and joy, our Instructional Designers create a wide range of learning material that responds to the needs of our business across the Monetization Integrity department. They're the experts in transforming training needs into fully fledged learning programs that deliver reliable results every time.
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging digital learning materials and compelling course content that enhances knowledge retention and skill transfer (audio, video, infographics, job aids, wikis, trainer guides etc.).
- Develop SCORM compliant digital learning content, in collaboration with Learning Business Partners and Subject Matter experts, taking into account the learner's experience.
- Demonstrate expertise in using authoring tools, animation, and video/design software to create effective and adaptive digital learning content
- Consider and recommend appropriate use of multimedia tools in the design of digital learning content, e.g.: PDFs, PowerPoint slides, micro-videos to enhance learning effectiveness
- Apply adult learning theories into practical, application-based leadership learning strategy.
- Follow style guides and use company assets to create innovative and engaging visual content
- Develop digital learning materials/content that reflects an understanding of the diversity of learners, including the demonstrated understanding of cultural differences that may apply.
- Manage project tasks and meetings to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Promote feedback, collaboration, partnership and relationships among the participants and stakeholders when creating content.
- Communicate effectively in visual, oral, and written form and deliver engaging presentations to business leaders.
- Be a thought leader in your area of expertise.
Qualifications
- Understanding of key concepts related to instructional design and instructional technology (with a focus on e-learning and/or multimedia content design)
- Understanding of the basic concepts of agile (SAM) and waterfall (ADDIE) design environments.
- Understanding of key concepts related to developing and implementing emerging learning solutions including visual aids, game-based learning, video, micro-learning, simulations, and immersive scenarios requiring multiple branching elements strongly preferred.
- Understanding of key concepts related to building blended learning programs and micro-learning.
- Visual design skills and a strong ability to storyboard.
- Previous experience using presentation software for developing Instructor-Led Training and video editing software for asynchronous video content is highly beneficial.
- Previous experience using Articulate tools for authoring scalable e-learning is highly beneficial.
- Strong time and task management skills to achieve completion of assigned projects.
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts.
- Proficiency in using video/design software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator or similar products) and authoring tools (Articulate Rise, Storyline)
- Excellent verbal communication in English, an additional language is a bonus.
