You as an Installation Manager will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. You will be part of the Hitachi Energy HVDC Installation Department, which is responsible for execution of all mechanical and electrical installation activities in our delivery projects across the world. HVDC is a product group in Hitachi Energy, which developing, manufacturing, and selling DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is an enabler for renewable energy integration and supports the energy transition for a sustainable future. The department also support tendering and sales in providing technical input, as well as the engineering office in developing the design.

　　Your responsibilities

　　Managing and coaching installation supervisors.Main mission will be to Manage installations on site (both AC and DC) in high voltage installation global.Leading preparation, planning and implementation of installation activities in early project stages and on site. Manage and guide subcontractors on site to ensure completion of all installation activities efficiently and cost-effectively, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.Coordinating the installation activities with the Site Manager and other internal and external stakeholders on site.Coordinating with engineering office to assure needed documentation is used at site during execution and provide mark-ups for as-built project documentation. 　　Your background

　　A bachelor's in electrical or mechanical engineering field is required.Minimum 6-8 years of work experience within relevant field.Acquired previous experience in electrical- or mechanical installation work in large scale projects is preferred.Experience from managing people is required and previous experience from HVDC, FACTS or Substation projects are preferred. Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
