Job Description:
The Inspector/Receiver is responsible for the physical receipt ofproduct, general inspection, processing ERP transactions, putting awaymaterial.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Verifying accuracy of incoming components and raw materials to orderdocumentsResponsible for dimensional inspection of incoming componentsMatch all packing slips with purchase orders and notify impacteddepartments of any discrepanciesComplete receiving transactions in the ERP System the day componentsare receivedPlace all components and raw material in assigned locationsComplete Non-Conforming Material Report (NCMR)Use overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and fork lifts to unload trucksAll other duties as assigned by managementREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or minimum two years experience in shipping andreceiving preferredMust be able to pass truck and crane certification with trainingupon hireBasic mechanical skillsIntermediate math skillsComputer knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and othercomputer programsAbility to use inspection equipment ex: calipers, tape measures,micrometer, digital protractor, dial indicator)Ability to participate in minor data entryAbility to read tape measureAbility to read a blue printAbility to use hand tools requiring dexterityComputer knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and othercomputer programsMust be able to communicate effectively with factory supervisionWORK ENVIRONMENT:
