  The job:

  We are looking for an ambitious Dutch and English speaking Inside Sales Representative to join our Genetic Sciences Division sales team.

  As Inside Sales Representative you will promote and sell our service product portfolio to current and prospective customers within pharmaceutical, academic, scientific research, and clinical organisations across the Netherlands. You will manage your own panel of customer accounts, initiating and building strong customer relationships over the phone and driving coverage, growth and profitability over time.

  You will be focused on selling our service product portfolio (service products sold separately from our scientific instrumentation), including: contract renewals; warranty conversions; training courses; & bioinformatics services. You will also have indirect impact on contracts sold upfront with scientific instruments.

  This role is ideal for a Science or Engineering graduate with some sales or customer-facing experience, who wants to pursue a sales career at a global company.

  The position is permanent and can be based remotely (working from home) anywhere in Europe. However, please note that you must be fluent in both Dutch and English, as your customer base will be in the Netherlands. Occasional, in-person travel to your customers in the Netherlands or to attend European sales meetings may be required (up to 3 trips per year on average and will include some overnight stays).

  What will you do?

  Successfully manage the sales of company service products to a variety of customer accounts and segments, building strong relationships over the phone/by email and delivering sales presentationsGenerate new business from existing customers and promote and sell portfolio of New Services including Training Courses, Bioinformatics Services and Compliance ServicesFormulate competitive pricing quotationsWork together with Instrument Sales to optimise the sales of upfront contracts and coordinate the approach on accounts assigned to service managementAccurately forecast future business and plan sales activities well in advanceDevelop and maintain detailed customer/prospect records and ensures that the relevant sales tools reflect this information (e.g. Sales Forecast & Territory Plan)

  Who we are looking for:

  Fluent in English & Dutch (both essential)Strong telesales and communications skills to effectively discuss customer's needs to sell services by telephone and occasional site visits; able to engage and influence at all levelsBSc in a Life Science preferred, but not essential if you have strong prior sales experienceSome prior sales experience essential, in any industrySales mindset; strongly motivated by targetsPositive attitude and desire to succeedAbility to manage time effectively to prioritize and complete tasks requiredAble to adapt to a rapidly changing business environmentComputer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, or similar
