System One has partnered with a manufacturing company that is seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative to drive the sales efforts to new heights. Along with other team members, the inside sales representative will oversee some of the largest sales accounts for the business. The ideal applicant will be in charge of order entry, customer communications with purchasing, engineering, and management.
Responsibilities:
Engage with prospects to understand their unique needs, pain points, and objectives. Educate them about the company and its offerings
Maintain in-depth knowledge of products/services and stay up-to-date with industry trends to effectively communicate their value to customers
Utilize a consultative sales approach to provide customized solutions that address customers' specific requirements and challenges
Engage in conversation with internal and vendor contacts to comprehend and address delivery needs
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations, both virtually and in-person when required
Create accurate and competitive proposals, quotes, and contracts for potential customers
Skillfully negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to reach mutually beneficial agreements with customer
Close sales opportunities and achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in the CRM system, track sales activities, and generate reports
Collaborate with the sales, purchasing, and marketing teams to align strategies, share market insights, and ensure a cohesive approach to achieving sales goals
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply
Proven inside sales, customer service, or technical fields experience
Previous mechanical experience is strongly preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
Selling abilities, such as the capacity to identify opportunities, identify ways to add value for clients, overcome challenges to upsell, cross-sell, and secure new business
Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment
