This is an inside sales position that will be responsible for selling a portfolio of Siemens Automation solutions and services, winning new customers, and expanding the product lines of existing customers digitally.
Candidates will develop a deep understanding over time of the products and solutions they are required to sell. They will work closely with additional teams on the development and positioning of solutions so they can accurately address inbound interest or develop new opportunities. Inside Sales Executives are in constant collaboration with product team and distributors so they can fully support the sales cycle.
We are looking for an Inside Sales Executive. This position is available remote in Atlanta, GA with alternate remote locations available in: Detroit, MI, Houston, TX, Dallas, TX, Chicago, IL, St. Louis, MO, Denver, CO
You'll make an impact by:
Sellingthecompany’sproductsand/orservicesviatelephoneandelectronicchannelsto customers and prospects
Createandmanageopportunitiesfrominceptionto close,andtakeownershipofopportunities received from other teams.
Developand growbusiness atalargenumberof accounts at onetime.
Identifyrequirements,projects,competitivedetailsandpainpointstodetermineifSiemenshas applicable solutions.
CoordinatewithOutsideSalesReps, Product Marketing Teams,and Distributors sales teams as necessary to ensure a positive customer experience.
Managesalespipelineandreportsales activitiesandKPI’sinregularsales meetings.
UseSalesforceCRMand Outreach tomanage,monitorandtrackopportunitiesonatimely basis, as well as document & research customer information.
Worksonprojects/assignmentsofsimple scope
Typicallyworksunderlightsupervisiononassignment/projectsassolesalesrepresentativefor an assigned product or product line, or works in conjunction with Regional Sales Teams
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
2+yearsinsidesalesexperienceselling tosmall,mid-market, andenterprisebusiness clients.
5+ yearsoftechnology sales experience, preferably in industrial
Salestrainingthathasincludednegotiation,upselling,andobjection handling.
Musthavefirsthandtrainingand/orexperiencewithCRMsystems,suchasorlike Salesforce.
B.S.degree in comparable field and/or relevant experience
Abilitytogenerateprospectivecustomersthrough followupofsalesleads andsomecoldcalling as assigned.
Abilitytounderstandandinterprettechnicalrequirementsforspecificsolutionsbeingsold
Relentlessfocusonfollowingupwithdecisionmakersandmaintainingforwardmovementof the sales process throughout the sales cycle.
Adheretoallrelevantlegislationandcorporatepoliciesimpactingbothbusinessoperationsand the management.
ExcellentverbalandwrittenEnglishcommunicationskills Strong phone contact skills.

The pay range for this position is $72,380 to $124,080 and the annual incentive target is 42% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
