Provide guidance to customers on the use of Critical Care devices resulting in achievement of sales objectives.
A day in the Life:
The Area Sales Specialist will provide comprehensive guidance (e.g., capital platform) to customers on the use of complex devices and/or products resulting in achievement of sales objectives. This person will also recommend new programs and internal process improvement; lead sales projects and initiatives (e.g., obsolescence). The Area Sales Specialist will also recommend, analyze, and propose complex pricing on new and existing products, including trade offers and equipment placement options by utilizing account history and situational/sales data to drive sales. One way they have found success is by, collaborating with Sales Management team to evaluate the status of approvals and budget availability to develop complex proposals for customers, including exceptions that deviate from established procedures. Lastly this person will generate cold calls to select customers for product lines (e.g., service contracts) and other incidental duties.

Bachelor's Degree in in related field, 3 years years experience of previous medical and/or technical field experience Required

For California, the base pay range for this position is $52,000 to $65,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
