About Innovation and Product Commercialization Director

  C.H. Robinson is excited to add an Innovation and Product Commercialization Director to our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving enterprise-wide development of supply chain solutions, encompassing technologies, strategies, and processes that optimize the movement, tracking, and management of individual items within a supply chain.

  As the Innovation and Product Commercialization Director, you'll spearhead the vision, strategy, and commercialization across the sales cycle, oversee essential technology capabilities, and manage cross-functional stakeholders in technology, commercial, operations, and product. You will hold a crucial role in shaping the future of our company by driving innovation and guiding the commercialization of new and cutting-edge products and technologies.

  Responsibilities:

  Formulate and guide the overall vision and strategy vision and strategy for innovative product solutionsDevelop and oversee the commercialization roadmap and associated processes, including supporting solution design and implementationCreate the technology roadmap and driving engineering development, developing the commercialization and technology roadmap for innovative solutionsCultivate an innovation pipeline focused on item-level and PO management solutionsCollaborate with customers, industry experts, and internal stakeholders to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the logistics and supply chain domainLead cross-functional teams to conceptualize and execute innovative product concepts, addressing customer pain points and elevating our service standardsDirect the product development journey, working closely with the product organization to conceptualize, build, and evaluate technological solutions aligned with customer requirementsOversee the entire product lifecycle, from inception and construction to market launch and post-launch monitoringCraft comprehensive go-to-market strategies, encompassing pricing, positioning, and marketing strategies, to ensure smooth product adoption and revenue generationEstablish strong relationships with account managers and sales teams, providing them with the necessary training, resources, and support to effectively advocate and sell new productsMonitor crucial performance metrics and customer feedback to assess product effectiveness and recommend data-driven improvementsStay abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to fuel continuous innovation initiatives

  Required Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)10 years of experience in product management, innovation, or a related role within the logistics, supply chain, or technology industry

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Documented track record of effectively launching new products or technologies into the market, encompassing strategy formulation, product design, launch orchestration, and post-launch evaluationRobust analytical acumen, empowering the translation of customer insights and market trends into actionable product strategiesExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating seamless collaboration across cross-functional teams and interactions with customers at diverse tiersStrategic thinker animated by a fervor for change, pushing conventional bounds, and cultivating an innovation-driven ethosAccomplished leadership background, including team management and development, alongside the capability to influence and invigorate others towards shared objectivesAdeptness in project management and product development methodologiesDesirable familiarity with logistics and supply chain workflows

  Compensation Range

  $125,600.00 - $287,300.00
