Injection Molding Operator 2 - 2nd Shift ($1000 Sign on Bonus)
Position Description
Job Summary
The Injection Molding Operator 2 will be responsible for the daily operations of the molding department on 2nd Shift. Which will include Mold Set-Ups, Thermoplastic Processing, Basic Machine Maintenance, heat treating and curing and all aspects of Quality for each production run.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
Additionally, they should have knowledge of safety regulations and be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to:
• Set-Up and Operating injection molding machines efficiently for Production Jobs when Scheduled.
• Operate Injection Molding Machine, Auxiliary Equipment, Robots, Tumblers, and Packaging Machine as required.
• Monitoring machine settings, including temperature, pressure, and cycle time. Raising issues when needed.
• Ensure manufactured parts conform with all customer requirements through the completion of detailed inspection plans/reports.
• Use safe practices and comply with all company policies, procedures and health, safety and environmental regulations, as required.
• Follow all safety requirements pertaining to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintains workspace before, during, and after each scheduled shift in accordance with 5S principles.
• Complete all paperwork correctly and legibly.
• Perform all tasks with minimal supervision.
• Contribute to team effort by performing other supporting tasks as directed by the Department Strategist.
Required Qualifications
High School degree, GED or equivalent
3-5+ years’ experience in Injection Molding Thermoplastic Processing, Set-up, Basic Machine Maintenance, and Robotics Operation
Excellent attention to detail
Experience with various Injection Machines, Robotics, Auxiliary Equipment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Maintain high attendance standards and Production Schedules
Adherence to cleanliness standards, FOD and 5S.
Ability to strictly adhere to written and verbal instructions
Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally

3-5+ years’ experience Thermoplastic Plastic Processing Required
3-5+ years’ experience Injection Machine Set-Up and Maintenance Required
1-3+ Years Experience Forklift Operations Preferred

This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs./week * 52wks)) for this position, is $49,100 to $62,900. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
