Job Description
Our client is changing their footprint in their headquarters, eliminating two floors, changing desks, moving their onsite data center, etc. They are seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager to assist with the move, provide a high-level view of each project, and understand how they are being handled by different groups. The overarching project relates to the office move but there will be multiple subset projects including managing the dependencies of their data center, moving their storage to Azure cloud, and changing circuits and network connectivity. The Infrastructure Project Manager must have experience working on multiple projects at one time and be well-versed in gathering information, updates, and pushing projects along from a variety of departments including their helpdesk, cloud team, application support, facilities, engineering firm, executive board, and more. The Infrastructure Project Manager will also be expected to have excellent organizational skills, communication skills as they will work with executive stakeholders, and strong documentation experience with Project Management tools. The ideal candidate would also have experience with the cloud (AWS or Azure), experience with an office move or datacenter migration, and have experience in the financial industry.
Skills and Requirements
4+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Project Management
Experience working on multiple projects at one time
Project management tools experience (ex: MS Project, JIRA)
Excellent communication skills, experienced communicating with C-level stakeholders
Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills Financial industry experience
Office move experience
Datacenter move experience
Azure or AWS experience
Project Management Certification (ex: PMP) null
