Work you'll do
As an Infrastructure Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the onshore infrastructure operations team, ensuring the smooth functioning, reliability, and security of all on-premises technology systems and environments. Your role involves overseeing infrastructure maintenance, managing resources, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency and stability.
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management: Supervise the onshore infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and related hardware/software. Implement and maintain systems for monitoring infrastructure performance and health. Plan and execute upgrades, installations, and configurations to ensure optimal performance and security.
Team Leadership: Lead a team of onshore infrastructure professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Assign tasks, set goals, and conduct performance evaluations for the team. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment to achieve departmental objectives.
Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute strategies for enhancing onshore infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security. Collaborate with other departments to align infrastructure goals with overall business objectives. Forecast future infrastructure needs and plan accordingly to support organizational growth.
Security and Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to onshore infrastructure. Implement and oversee security protocols, disaster recovery plans, and backup procedures. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers for procurement, support, and maintenance of infrastructure components. Negotiate contracts, evaluate vendor performance, and ensure service-level agreements are met.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in infrastructure operations and processes. Implement innovative solutions and technologies to optimize infrastructure performance and efficiency. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to recommend relevant improvements.

Qualifications
Required:
15+ years of experience in managing onshore infrastructure operations or a similar role
10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing Cisco FTD, ISE, ACI, and AnyConnect Apex in complex enterprise environments
5+ years of experience with network security principles, protocols, and technologies with a focus on Cisco solutions
5+ years expertise in ForgeRock products (OpenAM, OpenIDM, OpenDJ, etc.) and related technologies (LDAP, SAML, OAuth, etc.)
5+ years experience with infrastructure components such as servers, networks, virtualization, and storage systems
2+ years experience with project management, team leadership, and strategic planning
2+ years of technical expertise in telecommunications systems, including PBX, VoIP, network protocols, routers, switches, etc.
Bachelor's degree
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science OR Information Technology, Master's degree preferred
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., ITIL, Cisco, Microsoft) are advantageous
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $144,000 to $241,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
