Job Purpose
We are seeking an Information Systems Business Auditor to join our Global Audit team!
Overseeing both Information Systems (IS) audits and IS Program audits, you'll look to address cyber-security and IS risks across the US and UK, including key systems and critical National Infrastructure systems, with a focus on agility, innovation, and timely delivery. As a trusted advisor and influencer, you'll develop strong working relationships across both the business and IS team, breaking down organizational silos and advocating for a more integrated audit approach. As a flexible pragmatist, you'll synthesize and communicate complex audit topics while also providing recommendations to support the business and IT in driving continuous improvement of controls and processes to make them more efficient and effective.
Key Accountabilities

You're CISA qualified or near qualified with a track record of delivering information systems and project audits. You have hands on experience with audit delivery and practices, internal control frameworks and risk management activities and applying internal auditing principles and practices. You'll bring a strong understanding of GAAP, COSO, PCAOB Auditing Standards, Sarbanes-Oxley, risk and controls standards and SOx compliance requirements. You're comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, are used to managing multiple priorities and have strong project management experience, including managing project teams. Knowledge of data analytics (ACL, PowerBI), process improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma) and auditing software are highly desirable.
Qualifications
* 3+ years of relevant work experience, Big 4 experience preferable or industry experience.
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in an information systems, business administration, accounting, engineering or relevant field.
* Good information systems and project auditing experience with a proven track record for delivering audits within multinational utility/asset management companies or operations/functional experience from utility/assessment management companies.
* Good knowledge and understanding of project methodologies, audit delivery and practices, internal control frameworks and risks management activities and skill in applying internal auditing principles and practices.
* Demonstrable track record of developing successful, long lasting, relationships across businesses, including the ability to engage and influence senior managers, deal effectively with resistance to proposals and secure buy-in and support.
* Strong knowledge of and experience of information systems processes, ideally within the utility sector.
* Knowledge of current trends within the energy industry and developments in legislation or regulation.
* Experience of managing project teams, managing others and projects independently.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, and Word), Visio and Project.
* Knowledge of data analytics (e.g. ACL), process improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma) and auditing software are highly desirable
* A focus on continued improvement and achieving high standards.

$124k - $150k a year in Brooklyn, NY
$116k - $140k a year in Waltham, MA
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
