Job Summary
Mid-level InfoSec Engineer with experience in IT security areas including applications, systems and network. May also have experience in audit, compliance and governance.
Responsibilities
Identify emerging security risks and threats and work to mitigate themEstablish risk reduction strategies and provide guidance to managementCollaborate with development teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycleProvide guidance on secure coding practices and assist in code reviewsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to address and remediate security issues, ensuring they are resolved efficientlyDevelop and maintain a remediation plan and timeline for identified vulnerabilities, ensuring timely and effective fixesMonitor and report on the progress of remediation efforts, providing status updates to relevant stakeholdersWork with the security and compliance teams to ensure that datacenter operations adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirementsEvaluate, recommend, and implement security solutions, best practices, and tools to enhance the security posture of the data centerInvestigate security incidents, breaches, and vulnerabilities to understand the root causes and develop strategies to prevent their recurrenceAssist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and guidelines for datacenter operations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plusProven experience in information security, remediation, and datacenter operationsStrong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)Experience with security tools such as static/dynamic analyzers, penetration testing tools, and code review toolsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detailEffective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teamsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesA proactive and self-motivated mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvementBilingual with the ability to speak English
