　　What can I achieve and what will I be responsible for whilst completing a placement at Pfizer?

　　Pfizer provides you with the opportunity to work with experts in the pharmaceutical industry and has a wealth of opportunities available across a variety of departments. Through working in a busy marketing environment you can look forward to developing critical business skills and being a valued team player. These skills will include communication through liaising with colleagues and external stakeholders, multi-tasking through working on a variety of projects and also leadership by owning specific workstreams.

　　Other assignments will include:

　　Learning the foundations of marketing skills including project management.Being an integral part of the marketing team, supporting and implementing key strategies and tactics as well as being a valued contributor to future strategic directions.Liaising with a range of internal stakeholders, including customer facing colleagues to gain insight from across the business to inform strategic and tactical decision making.Directing and delivering key projects on time throughout your placement to gain a deeper comprehension of pharmaceutical marketing.Learning and understanding customer habits/dynamics to facilitate an omnichannel approach to marketing activities.Managing materials from development to approval by developing an understanding of the ABPI code and industry regulations.Managing dissemination process and stock of materials and liaising with warehouse staff and suppliers.Supporting the management of regulatory processes including cross functional working to ensure compliance is maintained.

　　Cross functional team working is a core part of this placement. Through your development you will interact with cross functional colleagues across Pfizer UK and global teams to learn the skills to manage projects from start to finish. You will attend and be part of the planning team for all internal meetings as well as attend the national conference. We often volunteer some time to charity and there would be the opportunity to shape what this might be for 2024/25.

　　Training will take place as appropriate on key skills and knowledge to compliment both the department and your own professional development. 　　When can I start?

　　Placements will start on 2nd September 2024 and will run for 12 months.
