The Body, Chassis, Interior (BCI) Quality Team is looking for a Development Quality Lead to join our team focused on ensuring all project quality targets are met, managing launch timelines & deliverables and insure the transition to quality volume production.
Specific Responsibilities included, but not limited to:
• Responsible for the achievement of quality targets during development steps for one or several vehicles.
• Responsible for delivery of APQP-PPAP processes and documentation.
• In charge of activities to avoid issue reoccurrence, control of risks, manage quality convergence paths to reach the expected objectives (APQP-PPAP scope).
• Ensures the achievement of project quality targets defined by BCI Department.
• Responsible for efficient communication between project teams, engineering teams, manufacturing, and other partners.
• Defines actions and deliverables for milestones required at each stage of the development, assesses results, manages KPI's.
• Applies escalation processes to manage risks of non-compliance and proposes recovery plans.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering Degree education. Knowledge of Quality and Lean methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of industrialization and project processes, and related management methods, APQP / PPAP processes.
• Self-motivated. Able to meet deadlines with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft suit and Google, TeamCenter Cad is a plus. Familiarity with statistical control concepts.
• Communication & issue resolution skills. Leadership capacities, result orientated.
• Knowledge of English language
• Being mobile, mission that can lead to short or long-term displacements 6-18 months.
