Job Description
As an Industrial Hygienist your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Recognition, evaluation, and control of occupational risk factors (physical, chemical and radiation) or stresses that may cause sickness, impaired health, or injury among the employees and/or citizens of the community.Minimize occupational exposure risk at Intel using engineering controls, administrative measures, and PPE.Coordinates the monitoring of workplace environments and acts as a liaison to appropriate regulatory agencies, responds to customer requests or events as they occur and develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.Drive completion of IH qualitative risk/PPE assessments and provide the data for cross-site use.Support site IH program self-assessments and follow-up plans.Evaluate exposure and toxicology implications in the use of new chemicals and approve their use as appropriate.Influence site and factory management to better integrate Intel IH initiatives into their business.Drive improvements in indoor air quality, respiratory protection, and laser/radiation programs to close gaps.Assist in tool sampling/validation to ensure all occupational exposure levels are below acceptable limits.Gather technical documentation and data in order to obtain the required permits for tools/obtain those permits (i.e. laser, radiation, etc.).Manage IH Lab.Ensure compliance to applicable local IH regulatory requirements and conformance to Intel IH standards.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must have a Bachelor of Science (BS) with 3+ years of experience or Master's degree with 2+ years of experience in Industrial Hygiene or equivalent related degree.3+ years of regulatory experience with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and/or other regulatory standards applicable to semiconductor manufacturing.

Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
