Our work at NVIDIA is dedicated towards a computing model focused on visual and AI computing. For two decades, NVIDIA has pioneered visual computing, the art and science of computer graphics, with our invention of the GPU. The GPU has also proven to be unbelievably effective at solving some of the most complex problems in computer science. Today, NVIDIA’s GPU simulates human intelligence, running deep learning algorithms and acting as the brain of computers, robots and self-driving cars that can perceive and understand the world. We are looking to grow our company and teams with the smartest people in the world.
What you’ll be doing:
Apply Industrial/systems engineering techniques in one of the most exciting companies in the world! The candidate will be encouraged to contribute to the development of digital twin factories using Nvidia Omniverse technology.
Successfully operate throughout the management chain to identify, process map, analyze layouts, integrate improvements to existing facilities and factory bring-ups.
Work closely with engineering managers and production managers to understand underlining principles of the work content and workflow simulation methodology to identify improvements.
Extract, transform and visualize data from different processes throughout the supply chain to drive cycle time reduction efforts
Ability to articulate your suggestions on improvement to a wide range of NV team members. IE staff, process engineers, production managers and our contract manufacture’s
Work with senior engineers and operations supervisors to fine tune and verify production modeling tools
What we need to see:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
An understanding of programming languages such as Python or SQL.
Experience with Data Analytics including Cycle Time Analysis
Simulation modeling techniques and digital twin experience
Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills, specifically a demonstrated ability to effectively guide and influence within a dynamic matrix environment.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Strong performance in undergraduate work in Ind. Eng. or Operations research engineering
Proficiency on data processing tools like SQL, HANA or others
Proficiency on data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI
Experience with FlexSim of similar event simulation software.
Use of VISIO, Lucidchart or other process flow models
