Job Title: Manufacturing/Industrial Electrical Technician Job Summary:As a Manufacturing/Industrial Electrical Technician, you will play acrucial role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation ofelectrical systems within our manufacturing facility. This positioninvolves the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair ofelectrical equipment, machinery, and control systems. Responsibilities:Electrical Systems Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections andpreventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimalperformance. Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions inmachinery, equipment, and control systems. Installation and Upgrades:Install and commission new electrical systems, machinery, and controlpanels. Participate in upgrades and modifications to existing electricalsystems to enhance efficiency and productivity. Control Systems:Program, troubleshoot, and maintain programmable logic controllers(PLCs) and other control systems. Collaborate with engineering teams toimplement changes or improvements in control systems. Safety Compliance:Adhere to electrical safety standards and protocols. Participate insafety training programs and contribute to the development of safetyprocedures. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of electricalmaintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades.Update electrical drawings, schematics, and documentation as needed.Collaboration: Work closely with production and maintenance teams tominimize downtime and optimize electrical systems. Communicateeffectively with supervisors, engineers, and other team members. Upkeepof Tools and Equipment: Ensure that electrical tools and testingequipment are properly maintained and calibrated. Report any faultytools or equipment for timely replacement or repair. Energy Efficiency:Identify opportunities for improving energy efficiency within electricalsystems. Recommend and implement solutions to reduce energy consumption.Qualifications: Proven experience as an electrical technician in amanufacturing or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of electricalsystems, wiring, and control systems. Proficiency in reading andinterpreting electrical schematics and diagrams. Experience withprogrammable logic controllers (PLCs) and human-machine interfaces(HMIs). Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) and otherrelevant safety standards. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solvingskills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a teamenvironment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
