Robinson is seeking a results-driven Indirect Procurement Manager to optimize sourcing across multiple divisions within the organization, with a specific focus on warehouse and shared services spend categories. In this role, you will be responsible for managing categories including maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), material handling equipment (MHE), facilities and other warehouse & corporate consumables/services. Responsibilities/What you will do:
Analyze spending data to create strategic category plans and develop sourcing plans for assigned categories
Manage assigned indirect categories, serving as the subject matter expert on supplier base, market conditions, and product knowledge
Provide category and supplier spending data to support strategic decision-making for senior business stakeholders
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define and validate business requirements
Execute RFIs and RFPs, analyze proposals, and recommend/determine selection for assigned materials and services
Evaluate proposals/quotes, negotiate contracts, and recommend suitable suppliers based on quality, cost, and other criteria to secure the highest value
Work with senior stakeholders to prioritize the project pipeline and influence consideration of alternative suppliers
Ensure all procurement activities adhere to internal policies and external regulations, monitoring changes in policies and regulations
Manage and update contracts for indirect purchases, including ownership of terms, conditions, and legal compliance
Utilize organizational knowledge and networks to identify new value opportunities and assess/respond to internal customer requests for information
Provide support for categories assigned to other Sourcing team members as appropriate and mentor team members
Perform other duties as assigned based on team and country-specific requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 7 years progressive experience in Sourcing and Procurement
Comprehensive knowledge of sourcing and contracting for indirect spend
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience in indirect procurement, with expertise in MRO, MHE, facilities, and warehouse-related categories
Experience in negotiating agreements and contracts with strong comprehension of legal and commercial terms and conditions
Results-oriented, metrics-driven professional with expertise in purchasing, supplier collaboration, and contracting
Ability to effectively implement changes in a large, matrixed organization
Experience working with external industry forums and research providers
Outstanding relationship building skills with an ability to work as part of a team and influence senior stakeholders
Effective and flexible communication and presentation skills, including experience with senior leadership presentations
Demonstrated effective project communications, project management, and compliance management
Meets deadlines and makes decisions in line with department goals
Detail oriented with demonstrated analytical skills
Values a diverse and inclusive work environment
Solid knowledge of supply chain requirements, systems, supplier development, indirect procurement categories, and process improvement
Experience working with procurement tools including Coupa (P2P), VNDLY (VMS), WMS and other related platforms
